Cameron Browne- The world as one

In Gatta’s book, Making Nature Sacred, he states, “The whole material universe is preserved by gravity, or attraction, or the mutual tendency of all bodies to each other. One part of the universe is hereby made beneficial to another. The beauty, harmony and order, regular progress, life and motion, and in short, all the well-being of the whole frame, depends on it. This is a type of love or charity in the spiritual world” (Gatta 64). When reading this passage it reminded me of the saying living on the earth as one. All the parts of the world work together as one to make the world a better place. The beauty if the landscapes and wilderness, the harmony of how the different parts in the wilderness work together in a certain order, regular processes of the earth like evaporation and decomposition, life and motion of the world they way the earth turns and tilts and changes the lives of people, and with all those components the world is complete. The statement, “One part of the universe is hereby made beneficial to another.” I believe this is a good statement and very true. Every part of the universe is dependent on each other and it all works together simultaneously.
