"Revelation to Us" -- Peter Michalski
Reading through Making Nature Sacred i came across a sentence that to me seemed to explain that we can't understand nature through reading and books but by being out there and using our own experiences instead. I may have misinterpreted the sentence but if what i did read meant what i thought it does then it seem counter productive to be reading the book in the first place. It just seems funny in that way because the book is supposed to be about experiencing nature and being out there, having revelations about ourselves and spirituality but it says not not focus on scriptures and books but it's in the book itself. it does seem like we tend to talk or read about thing more than actually doing them. In many cases goals seem to be the thing we talk about rather than doing. So instead we should put the book down and go outside.
