Although my chosen place for our blog assignment on a significant place was Prince William Forest Park, I must say that I don’t think I have one specific significant place, but rather a collection of places that have had significant marks in my life. I cannot say that that park is THE place or the only place because I don’t feel that it is a fair statement to make. I wish I could say it was my current home, but I have lived in so many, each one with events that make them significant to me and my life.
The town I currently live in, Woodbridge, is also significant to me because of many significant events that have occurred in my life. I have lived there for the past six years of my life my teenage years, which were very significant to who I am today and my beliefs.
All of the places, especially the homes I have lived in, listed above have been extremely significant to me. All of them share similarities that make them significant. All have brought my family closer and all have helped me become who I am. All had a sense of community, security, love and family. All gave me many memories and a sense of personal growth.
