In my last post, I talked about how the "wilderness" of CNU was easily tamed and made a comfortable home. The other day, however, I realized that some things on campus will always remain wild. And that thing is.... squirrels.
It was a warm and beautiful day, and I was walking across campus, minding my own business, when I walked past the big tree outside of the Gaines Theater. I saw my attacker before he spotted me, but thinking nothing of him (because he is just a squirrel) I kept walking.
Then came the attack! Acorns started flying from left and right and I heard him chattering his little squirrel laugh as they whizzed by my head!
Overdramatic? Yes. But this is a true story! So all you CNU students out there... befriend the squirrels while you can. Because it can get ugly, and fast.
