I see Chris McCandless as doing something that every one wants to do, even secretly but we're all holding back because of fear. we fear that we'll have no idea how to get back, where to make money or to stay. where would you go in the first place. all of these questions over power us and stop us from doing what we want, even if its not necessarily going out like McCandless did, these same thoughts stop us. it's important to just break free sometimes, cross the bridge when you come to it. call me crazy but i would love to try something like what McCandless did, not sure about going to Alaska and trying to survive but traveling around the United States backpacking and hitching would be amazing. a journey like that would really tell you about your self and the things you could puck up and learn on the way are endless.
