Church-Chelsea Gilbert
I have gone to the same church since I was a baby. It has remained a constant my entire life. The place where I go to church is also where my cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents go. I love that place because it is full of fellowship and a sense of community. I also love that place because it is what has helped me strengthen my spiritual background and beliefs. Although I was raised going to church every Sunday, my parents have never pushed my beliefs on me. It is a conscious choice that I have made for myself, and that makes me happy. My church, the people in it, and the fellowship I receive when I am there, are all factors which have influenced my beliefs. I love the way people come into my church on Sunday mornings, full of smiles and friendliness. I love the way they do not judge, but love every single person that walks through the door. It is amazing feeling to go somewhere where you feel at home and at the same time feel that your beliefs are being fed. Church has always played an important role in my life.
